Blake Thornton - President

Blake Thornton is the President of Blake Thornton Machinery. He is a native of Pawley's Island, South Carolina and graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a minor in Business Administration. For five years Blake oversaw the Asian, European and U.S. territories for an international construction equipment dealer. Based on that knowledge and experience, he founded BTM Machinery in 2002. Under his leadership, BTM has doubled in sales year-over-year to become one of the most innovative and entrepreneurial up-and-coming heavy construction equipment companies in the industry.

Mike Finley - Vice President of Sales

Mike Finley is a native of Cinncinnati, Ohio where he graduated from Xavier University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. In 1995 he graduated from Ohio University with a Masters degree in Sport Administration and Facility Management. Before joining BTM in 2005 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mike spent thirteen years in sales and marketing for professional hockey and tennis and the Olympics.

Diane Straney - Administration

Originally from Charleston, Diane received her B.S. in Philosophy from Swarthmore College and her Masters Degree in Computer Science from Boston University. Her past experience has been primarily in the software technology of high volume, transaction-oriented information systems in the brokerage, health and retail fields.

Dallas Robertson - Domestic and International Sales

Dallas Robertson was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He graduated from High Point University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Dallas has lived in Charleston, SC ever since. He has spent the last twelve years building and developing a strong foundation in the highly competitive field of heavy equipment sales, rentals, and construction applications. This experience was gained at Sunbelt Rentals and the SC CAT dealership.
